the only time i enjoy the darkness is when i stargaze. i sit outside in 30 degree weather and stare at the stars. match up the constellations and wait for 5 shooting stars. i sometimes see up to 10. just have to watch carefully and focus. sometimes, my eyes do this weird thing (they cross) and i see many more stars many light years away.  it's these moments where i blank out and think about nothing.
